The purpose of this project is to repave a segment of State Road (S.R.) 436 from Lake Howell Road to the Orange County line to maintain the roadway. The project will also upgrade pedestrian crosswalks and curb ramps as needed in accordance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

At Chicory Lane, the City of Casselberry is funding a new pedestrian activated traffic signal, reconstructed bi-directional median and new crosswalks.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold an in-person project open house on Tuesday, January 7, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Winter Park Elks Lodge, 4755 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32792.

To provide additional flexibility for stakeholders, the FDOT is also offering online opportunities to get involved.
