The purpose of this project is to repave a segment of State Road (S.R.) 436 from Lake Howell Road to the Orange County line to maintain the roadway. The project will also upgrade pedestrian crosswalks and curb ramps as needed in accordance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

The City of Casselberry has requested additional safety enhancements, including a new pedestrian activated traffic signal at Chicory Lane. The City is working with the FDOT on a funding agreement to pay for the additional work..
