Motorists can expect a speed reduction on southbound 95 (I-95) at mile marker 227 between Deering Parkway and State Road 46 in Mims.

The speed will be reduced from 70 to 60 mph to accommodate the construction vehicles entering and exiting the rest stop.

Work includes demolition of the entrance and exit ramps.

There will be PCMS boards posted.

Please slow down and proceed with caution while driving through construction zones.

Beginning September 9: To accommodate construction of a new rest area facility on southbound Interstate 95 at mile marker 227 in Brevard County, intermittent daytime and nighttime lane closures on I-95 will begin Monday, September 9, 2024, and continue throughout construction.

Please follow posted signage, avoid distractions, and pay close attention when driving through the construction zone.
