About

The purpose of this project is to enhance safety by converting the full median opening on East Lake Mary Boulevard (S.R. 415) and Sterling Meadows Way in Sanford, Seminole County, to a two-way directional median opening. These improvements will enhance access control, traffic flow, and reduce the possibility of crashes.

These proposed improvements will continue to allow U-turns for both northbound and southbound traffic on East Lake Mary Boulevard. Northbound traffic will be able to turn left into True Health. Southbound traffic will also be able to turn left onto Sterling Meadows Way. Left turns from True Health and Sterling Meadows
Way will be prohibited. New pavement markings and signage will be installed to direct drivers.
