The purpose of the State Road (S.R.) 520 Causeway Vulnerability Study is to evaluate the resiliency of S.R. 520 from U.S. 1 to S.R. A1A, a distance of approximately 7.6 miles in Brevard County, Florida. A vulnerability assessment of the corridor will be conducted to develop mitigation alternatives that address environmental and engineering hazards, involving storm surge and sea level rise.
