This project proposes to resurface U.S. 1 (South Ridgewood Avenue) from Beville Road (State Road 400) in South Daytona to south of Taylor Avenue Avenue in Daytona Beach. Additional safety improvements such as pedestrian crossings and improved bicycle facilities will also be evaluated. The project also proposes to modify the median opening at U.S. 1 and Shady Place to reduce the frequency and severity of crashes.
