The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) plans to make improvements along State Road (S.R. 44) from west of I-95 to east of South Walker Drive in New Smyrna Beach. This project will resurface the corridor, fill in sidewalk gaps, minor drainage improvements, and upgrade curb ramps, as needed, to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Also included is the reconstruction of the existing traffic signal at Sugar Mill Drive.
