About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is resurfacing 24 miles of northbound and southbound Interstate 95 (I-95) from south of Malabar Road (State Road (S.R.) 514) to north of Fiske Boulevard (S.R. 519). The ramps at the following interchanges will also be repaved: Malabar Road, Palm Bay Road (County Road (C.R.) 516), U.S. 192, S.R. 518 (Eau Gallie Boulevard), S.R. 404 (Pineda Causeway), Wickham Road, and Fiske Boulevard.

Other improvements include building barriers to protect the overpass piers at Minton Road, S.R. 404, and Viera Boulevard, applying new deck coatings on the bridges over S.R. 518 and Lake Washington Road, upgrading pavement markings, and improving the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS).

Lane Closures
  • 7 p.m. Sunday, March 30, through 6 a.m. Thursday, April 3

    Motorists can expect intermittent inside and outside lane closures northbound and southbound S.R. I-95 from Malabar Road to U.S. 192. All exits will remain open at all times.

    These closures are needed for paving activities.

    FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!
