The purpose of this project is to repave the southbound travel lanes of U.S. 1 (State Road 5) from the FEC Railroad bridge to Grace Street in Titusville. The project will also include traffic signal upgrades at Garden Street (State Road (S.R.) 406), Main Street, Julia Street, South Street (S.R. 405) and Grace Street. Pedestrian safety enhancements include improved crosswalks, pedestrian curb ramp reconstruction to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, and construction of sidewalk to connect to existing bus stops.
