About

The purpose of this project is to resurface two areas of U.S. 1 (State Road 5) to extend the life of the existing roadway. The first area is from north of Reed Canal Road to south of Ridge Boulevard in South Daytona. Included within this segment is a plan to convert the existing on-street parking lane to bicycle lanes.

The second area is at the three bridges over Spruce Creek. The project will replace the asphalt leading up to the bridges in both directions of U.S. 1.
