About

This project will improve safety and operations along State Road (S.R.) 33 from south of Edgewood Boys Ranch Road to Wright Street. Safety improvements for drivers include widening the existing paved shoulders through the curves in the road along Edgewood Boys Ranch Road and Groveland Airport Road and creating a new southbound left turn from S.R. 33 to Pine Island Road (County Road (C.R.) 565B).

A new southbound left turn lane from S.R. 33 onto Groveland Airport Road and new sidewalk between Domenico Court and Parkwood Road along northbound S.R. 33 will also be constructed.

Lane Closures
  • Sunday, March 29, through Friday, April 3, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists should be advised that there will be rotating northbound and southbound lane closures along S.R. 33 near Groveland Airport Road.

  • Overnight on Sunday, March 29, through overnight on Friday, April 3, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists should be advised that there will be rotating northbound and southbound lane closures along S.R. 33 near Edgewood Boys Ranch Road, near Pine Island Road, near Groveland Airport Road, and from Domenico Court to Parkwood Street for milling, resurfacing and paving.
