The purpose of this project is to mill and resurface Beville Road (State Road 400) from Williamson Boulevard to east of Forest Lake Boulevard to extend the life of the roadway.  Pedestrian safety improvements propose adding crosswalks at the Beville Road signalized intersections at Williamson Boulevard and Pelican Bay Drive, constructing pedestrian landings and adding new pedestrian signals in compliance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Pedestrian lighting is also being considered at the Williamson Boulevard intersection under this project, too. Pedestrian lighting at the Pelican Bay signalized intersection is being considered for a future project.
