The purpose of this project is to implement improvements on U.S. 1 (Ridgewood Avenue/State Road [S.R.] 5) at the intersections of 6th Street, 8th Street, Walker Street, and Flomich Street in Holly Hill, Volusia County. The existing concrete strain poles supporting the traffic signals at each intersection will be replaced with steel mast arms. Work also includes resurfacing the roadway within each intersection, minor pavement widening, and sidewalk and curb ramp improvements to enhance pedestrian safety and mobility.
