The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is increasing pedestrian safety by constructing new sidewalk on the west side of State Road (S.R.) A1A (Atlantic Avenue) from Golden Beach Boulevard to Volunteer Way in Indian Harbour Beach. The project will also reconstruct all curb ramps to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Modifications to the roadside ditches and other drainage structures are also a part of these improvements.
