About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is resurfacing and implementing safety improvements on State Road (S.R.) 551 (Goldenrod Road) from S.R. 408 to S.R. 50. Safety improvements include widening the lanes to make room for bike lanes, constructing raised medians, upgrading traffic signals, and lighting and improving drainage.

Lane Closures

Saturday, February 1, to Friday, February 28, daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning: There will be daily alternating single lane closures on the northbound and southbound inside and outside lanes of Goldenrod Road (S.R. 551) from State Road (S.R.) 408 to Colonial Drive (S.R. 50). Crews will be completing final tasks, including sidewalk repairs, sign installation, and landscaping.
