The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will construct a portion of the proposed South Sumter Trail along the west side of State Road (S.R.) 471 from S.R. 50 to County Road (C.R.) 478. The project will include paving the 10-foot-wide shared-use path while adding drainage improvements, lighting, and new signs and pavement markings. A new pedestrian crossing south of Central Avenue will also be constructed.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Motorists should be aware of and adhere to any posted signage or flaggers in and around the work zone.
