The purpose of this project is to improve operations and safety along State Road (S.R.) 40 (Granada Boulevard) from Breakaway Trail to Williamson Boulevard in Ormond Beach. During design, the recommendations presented in the 2014 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study will be further evaluated during design. The concept calls for widening S.R. 40 from 4 to 6 lanes.

Right of way acquisition will be needed for this project and is tentatively scheduled to begin in fall 2025. The project is not yet funded for construction.
