VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that nighttime Interstate 4 (I-4) ramp closures will begin as early as Monday, Jan. 20, at the I-4 and State Road (S.R.) 44 interchange. The closures are needed for striping and other safety enhancements. Please see the anticipated schedule from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) below:

  • The eastbound I-4 off ramp to S.R. 44 will be closed overnight from 11 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Detour information:
    • Motorists traveling east on I-4 wishing to access S.R. 44 should take Exit 116 to go west on Orange Camp Road, turn right on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Beltway, and continue north to S.R. 44.
  • The westbound I-4 off ramp to S.R. 44 will be closed overnight from 11 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Detour information:
    • Motorists traveling west on I-4 wishing to access S.R. 44 should continue south on I-4, take Exit 116 to go west on Orange Camp Road, turn right on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Beltway, and continue north to S.R. 44.
