Traffic Advisory: Westbound I-4 Entrance Ramp from Sand Lake Road to Close Overnight December 2
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists should be advised that a full closure of the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) entrance ramp from Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) is scheduled to take place overnight on Monday, December 2.
The closure is scheduled to start as soon as 9 p.m. Monday, December 2, and is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, December 3. The closure is necessary for a bridge deck pour, which is part of the ongoing improvement project at I-4 and Sand Lake Road.
Motorists traveling on Sand Lake Road who wish to access westbound I-4 should travel north on Turkey Lake Road and turn right onto eastbound Hollywood Way. Drivers will then turn right at Adventure Way and proceed south to the westbound I-4 entrance ramp.
FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
