ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists should be advised that a traffic shift on westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) from State Road (S.R.) 528 (Beachline Expressway) through Central Florida Parkway is scheduled to begin Sunday, November 17, at 11:30 p.m. and last through late 2025. Traffic will shift one lane toward the outside shoulder, providing space for crews to work in the median of I-4.

In addition to shifting traffic, crews will periodically implement single- and double-lane closures during the first two nights of the shift to accommodate striping and barrier wall construction.

This work is part of the ongoing improvement project at I-4 and Sand Lake Road (S.R. 482).

FDOT advises motorists to reduce their speed and use caution in the work zone. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
