Traffic Advisory: Eastbound I-4 Exit Ramp to Sand Lake Road to Close Overnight November 11-14 and 19-21
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists should be advised that a full closure of the eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) exit ramp to Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) is scheduled to take place overnight on Monday, Nov. 11, Tuesday, Nov. 12, Wednesday, Nov. 13, Thursday, Nov. 14, Tuesday, Nov. 19, Wednesday, Nov. 20, and Thursday, Nov. 21.
The ramp closure is scheduled to start as soon as 10 p.m. each night and is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. the next morning. The closure is necessary for barrier wall relocation. The work is part of the I-4 improvement project at the I-4 and Sand Lake Road interchange.
Motorists traveling on eastbound I-4 who wish to access Sand Lake Road (Exit 74A) should continue east and take Universal Boulevard/International Drive (Exit 75A). Drivers will then turn right onto southbound Universal Boulevard to access Sand Lake Road.
FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
