Traffic Advisory: Westbound I-4 Entrance Ramps from Central Florida Parkway to Close Overnight November 13
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists should be advised that a full closure of the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) entrance ramps from Central Florida Parkway is scheduled to take place overnight on Wednesday, November 13.
The closure is scheduled to start as soon as 8:30 p.m. and access is expected to be restored by 6:30 a.m. the next morning. This closure is necessary for milling and resurfacing the new westbound I-4 entrance ramp from Central Florida Parkway.
Motorists traveling west on Central Florida Parkway who wish to access westbound I-4 should continue past the I-4 interchange to turn left onto southbound Palm Parkway. Drivers will proceed south on Palm Parkway, turn left onto southbound Apopka-Vineland Road (State Road (S.R.) 535), and keep right to access the entrance ramp to westbound I-4.
FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
This work is part of the I-4 improvement project at I-4 and Daryl Carter Parkway. For more information on the planned improvements on I-4, visit the project website at i4beyond.com/darylcarter.
