VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that nighttime Interstate 4 (I-4) ramp closures are scheduled to start Sunday, Sept. 22, at the U.S. 92 and State Road (S.R.) 44 interchanges. The closures at U.S. 92 are needed to test the wrong-way vehicle detection systems (WWVDS) being installed on the ramp, and the closures at S.R. 44 are needed for paving operations. • The I-4 eastbound off ramp to westbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118 B) will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, to 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23. Detour information:
  • Motorists traveling east on I-4 wishing to access westbound S.R. 44 should exit onto eastbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118A) and then U-turn at North Prevatt Avenue.

• The I-4 westbound off ramp to westbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118 B) will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Detour information:
  • Motorists traveling west on I-4 wishing to access westbound S.R. 44 should exit onto eastbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118A) and then U-turn at North Prevatt Avenue.

• The I-4 westbound off ramp to eastbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118 A) will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Detour information:
  • Motorists traveling west on I-4 wishing to access eastbound S.R. 44 should exit onto westbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118B) and then U-turn at S.R. 44A/County Road (C.R.) 4139

• The I-4 eastbound off ramp to eastbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118 A) will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Detour information:
  • Motorists traveling east on I-4 wishing to access eastbound S.R. 44 should exit onto westbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118B) and then U-turn at S.R. 44A/C.R. 4139.

• The I-4 eastbound off ramp to eastbound U.S. 92 (Exit 129) will be closed nightly from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Thursday, Oct. 3, to the morning of Friday, Oct. 4. Detour information:
  • Motorists traveling east on I-4 wishing to access U.S. 92 will be directed to continue eastbound on I-4 to the Interstate 95 (I-95) interchange, head northbound on I-95, and then take Exit 260C onto U.S. 92.
