BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised of upcoming ramp closures along Interstate 95 (I-95) at the State Road (S.R.) 528 and S.R. 50 interchanges in Brevard County. These closures will allow for resurfacing work to take place.

The I-95 northbound ramp to S.R. 528 westbound will be closed from 10 p.m. Thursday, July 11, through 5 a.m. Friday, July 12. The following detour will be in place:

• Motorists on northbound I-95 wishing to head westbound on S.R. 528 will be directed to take the ramp to eastbound S.R. 528, take Exit 45 to Industry Road, turn left onto northbound Industry Road, and take the on ramp onto westbound S.R. 528.

The S.R. 528 eastbound ramp to I-95 northbound will be closed from 10 p.m. Thursday, July 11, through 5 a.m. Friday, July 12. The following detour will be in place:

• Motorists on eastbound S.R. 528 wishing to head northbound on I-95 will be directed to continue eastbound on S.R. 528, take Exit 45 to Industry Road, turn left onto northbound Industry Road, take the on ramp onto westbound S.R. 528, and head westbound on S.R. 528 before reaching the ramp to I-95 northbound.

The I-95 southbound ramp to S.R. 50 will be closed from 10 p.m. Sunday, July 14, through 5 a.m. Monday, July 15. The following detour will be in place:

• Motorists on southbound I-95 wishing to get onto S.R. 50 will be directed to continue southbound on I-95, take Exit 212 to S.R. 407, take the left ramp onto eastbound S.R. 407, and turn left onto northbound S.R. 405 before reaching S.R. 50.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) advises motorists to use caution, be alert, and follow all posted detour signs.
