Wednesday, April 23 and Thursday, April 24, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists can expect an alternating eastbound and westbound single lane closure on State Road (S.R) 44 over the St. Johns River Bridge to work on striping.

Daytime on Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day: Motorists should be advised that there will be overnight northbound and southbound outside lane closures at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) 44 and Main Street for signal work.

FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy!

April 13-17, April 20-24, and May 4-9: (Sunday through Thursday nights), 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Northbound I-75 lane closures from C.R. 462 to C.R. 475 are expected to accommodate bridge repair and inspections.

Through April 30, 2025

Motorists should be advised that nightly lane closures on northbound Interstate 75 (I-75), beginning at the County Road 462 overpass in Sumter County (near Mile Marker 331) and continuing north for approximately 2 miles (near Mile Marker 333).

Nightly single- and double-lane closures are scheduled to start as early as 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday nights and continue through 7:30 a.m. the next morning (Monday through Friday).

These lane closures are needed as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) does shoulder work in this section of I-75 northbound. 

FDOT advises motorists to reduce their speed, follow all posted signage, and exercise extra caution in the work zone. Delays may occur. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
