Sunday, May 12, through Friday, May 17, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists should expect an overnight westbound outside lane closure on C.R. 484 within the project limits and a traffic shift on C.R. 475A north of C.R. 484. Work will consist of drainage and utility-related activities. Please reduce your speed and exercise caution throughout the construction zone.

Tuesday, May 7, through Tuesday, May 21, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.: Weather permitting, motorists can expect Eastbound and Westbound Copeland Drive at the Eastside intersection of South Orange Avenue to temporarily close for the installation of new drainage pipes and structures. Drivers can still access Copeland Drive and South Orange Avenue by following posted detour signs.

Median Crossover Closures - Sunday, May 5, through Friday, May 17, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly: Expect shoulder closures at one or more of the following median crossover locations. The crossovers will be unavailable 24 hours per day until improvements are complete.

• Near mile marker 336 (near the Sumter County line)
• Near mile marker 339 (just north of the Marion County Weigh Station)
• Near mile marker 342 (approximately 8,200 feet north of C.R. 484)
• Near mile marker 345 (just south of the Marion County rest areas)
• Near mile marker 347 (just north of the Marion County rest areas)

I-75/S.R. 200 Ramp Closures

• Sunday, May 19, through Monday, May 20, from 8 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., nightly: The northbound I-75 off-ramp to S.R. 200 will be closed for resurfacing.
  • Detour information: 
    • Motorists traveling northbound on I-75 will exit at S.R. 40/Ocala/Silver Springs (Exit 352), turn left on S.R. 40 (West Silver Springs Boulevard), turn left to enter I-75 via the southbound on-ramp from S.R. 40, and exit at S.R. 200/Hernando/Dunnellon (Exit 350). 
• Monday, May 20, through Wednesday, May 22, from 8 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., nightly: The southbound I-75 on-ramp from S.R. 200 will be closed for resurfacing.
  • Detour information: 
    • Motorists traveling southwest on S.R. 200 will turn left on SW 60th Avenue, left on SW 95th Street, right on SW 49th Avenue, left on Marion Oaks Trail, and left on C.R. 484. 
    • Motorists traveling northeast on S.R. 200 will turn right on SW 43rd Street Road, continue onto SW 42nd Street, right on C.R. 475, and right on C.R. 484. 

Lane Closures - Sunday, May 5, through Friday, May 17, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly: Motorists should expect overnight northbound and southbound lane closures on Interstate 75 (I-75) from the Sumter County line to S.R. 200 for milling, paving, and median grade improvements. Inside northbound and southbound shoulder closures will be in effect between C.R. 484 and S.R. 200 for attenuator replacements.

For safety, please reduce your speed, alertly merge into an open lane and cautiously bypass the construction zone.

Shoulder Closures - Sunday, May 5, through Friday, May 17, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly: Inside northbound and southbound shoulder closures will be in effect near the 66th Street crossing for guardrail installation and elsewhere along I-75 from C.R. 484 to S.R. 200 for attenuator replacements.

Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 17, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Motorists should expect daytime northbound and southbound outside lane closures on U.S. 27 within the project limits for light pole installation. Please slowly approach the construction zone, merge safely into the open lane and proceed cautiously through the work area.

Tuesday, May 28, through Monday, June 10, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists should expect thermoplastic striping to occur overnight in either the northbound or southbound lanes at the following locations in Marion County:

• U.S. 301/S.R. 35 from Southeast Foss Road to Southeast 92nd Place and County Road (C.R.) 102 to Southeast 115th Lane
• S.R. 200 from south of Southwest 140th Loop to C.R. 484
• U.S. 41/S.R. 45 from Southwest 107th Lane to north of S.R. 40
• U.S. 27/S.R. 500 from south of Northwest 131st Court to south of Northwest 49th Avenue
• U.S. 441/S.R. 25 from Southeast 100th Place to Southeast 10th Avenue

The I-95 northbound weigh station in Flagler County is currently closed to truck traffic.

Monday, May 13, through Sunday, June 2, from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.: Motorists should expect intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures on U.S. 441 from Southwest 3rd Street to S.R. 40 for paving, median concrete improvements, and lighting installation. Please slowly approach the construction zone, merge safely into the open lane(s), and proceed cautiously through the work area.

Temporary Road Closure on NW 2nd Street at U.S. 441 Southbound

Northwest 2nd Street is closed at U.S. 441 (Pine Avenue) southbound as workers conduct utility work there. NW 2nd Street can be accessed using the following detour route:

• Traveling northbound on U.S. 441 (Pine Avenue), turn left on State Road (S.R.) 40/West Silver Springs Boulevard, right on NW 7th Avenue, and right on NW 2nd Street.
• Traveling southbound on U.S. 441 (Pine Avenue), turn right on S.R. 40/West Silver Springs Boulevard, right on NW 7th Avenue, and right on NW 2nd Street.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather or unexpected circumstances.

Sunday, April 21, through Friday, May 31, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Motorists should expect daytime eastbound and westbound intermittent lane closures on S.R. 50 from west of Boogy Road to C.R. 739 for roadway widening, equipment loading/unloading, and paving operations. Please reduce your speed and exercise caution in the work zone.

Sunday, April 21, through Friday, May 31, from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m., 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.: Motorists should expect intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures on U.S. 441 from West Boone Court to Southeast 178th Place for equipment loading and unloading and signal work. Thursday, May 16, and Friday, May 17, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days, single lane closure on westbound State Road 44 (New York Avenue W) between just east of the power lines and Linda Drive for shoulder construction.

Starting May 20, 2024, Old New York Avenue (County Road 4110) under the new bridge structure near Shady Oak Restaurant and Captain Jed's Airboat Rides will be closed for approximately three weeks. This closure is necessary to facilitate the reconstruction of the roadway underneath the new State Road 44 Bridge. During this period, a detour will be in place to guide motorists to their destinations. Drivers will be directed by video message boards and other signage to follow the designated detour route as follows:

DETOUR: Motorists wishing to access local residences and businesses along Old New York Avenue (County Road 4110) under the bridge will be detoured down New York Avenue (S.R. 44) and South Shell Road by signage.

The construction schedule is subject to change pending weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Please follow posted signage, avoid distractions, and allow extra travel time to reach your destination.

The travel lanes on US 17 from SR 15A to south of Spring Street have been reduced to one inside lane in each direction from north of Retta Street to Spring Street for paving operations at the U-turn locations. The median crossover at Reynolds Road/Wheeler Street will remain open during this work.
