About

The purpose of this project is to make corridor improvements along Robinson Street (State Road (S.R.) 526) from Mills Avenue (S.R. 15) to Maguire Boulevard/North Crystal Lake Drive in Orlando to enhance safety and efficiency.

The project proposes to change the roadway configuration to encourage slower speeds and improve accommodations for pedestrians. The concept would provide one travel lane in each direction, separated by a center two-way left turn lane between Mills Avenue and Hampton Avenue. Raised medians with openings for left turns would be constructed between Hampton Avenue and Festival Way. The entire corridor will be repaved.

On-street parking areas will be provided on westbound Robinson Street between Altaloma Avenue and Hampton Avenue. There will be some on-street parking on eastbound Robinson Street near Primrose Drive and near Festival Way.

The FDOT is conducting further traffic analysis to evaluate the proposed concept.
