About

The purpose of this project is to resurface Interstate 75 ( I-75) from the Sumter County line to State Road (S.R.) 200. In addition, the existing median crossovers will be reconstructed, the guardrail will be updated and added where necessary, and minor drainage work will take place.

Lane Closures
  • Sunday, April 28, through Friday, May 10, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and 6 p.m to 6 a.m. (for guardrail installation): Motorists should expect overnight northbound and southbound lane closures on Interstate 75 (I-75) from C.R. 484 to S.R. 200 and from the Sumter County line to C.R. 484 for milling and paving and median grade improvements. Shoulder closures will be in effect at the Sumter County line for attenuator replacements.

    At the 66th Street crossing on I-75, expect inside northbound and southbound shoulder closures from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. within the same date range for guardrail installation.

    For safety, please reduce your speed, alertly merge into an open lane and cautiously bypass the construction zone.
