About
This project includes operational and safety enhancements at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) 5/ U.S. 1 and Old Dixie Highway in Flagler County by constructing a roundabout.
The roundabout design will accommodate two lanes in each direction on U.S. 1, including a bypass lane for southbound U.S. 1 traffic that is not headed to Old Dixie Highway, or County Road (C.R.) 325. The design also accommodates individual entrances to U.S. 1 from Old Dixie Highway and C.R. 325. Construction will be completed in phases in an effort to maintain traffic flow on U.S. 1, C.R. 325 and Old Dixie Highway.
