The study builds on the recently-constructed short-term improvements following Hurricane Matthew and will evaluate a range of long-term improvement options for S.R. A1A.
The study is being conducted in association with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Marine Fisheries Service, Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The study will conclude with a range of options that will be further assessed by local, state and federal agencies.
Public Meeting: A public meeting was held on Thursday, Dec. 15, at Flagler Beach City Hall, 105 S. Second St., Flagler Beach. Materials presented at the meeting are included in the Project Files section below. Information about any additional meetings will be provided on this website. Notices also will be mailed to property owners and advertised in local publications.
