The project entails construction of a new state-of-the-art Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC) for the Florida Department of Transportation and the Florida Highway Patrol Dispatch. 

The RTMC will be a one-story, 44,700 square-foot building with parking located at the east terminus of Wilson Road in Seminole County. The RTMC will monitor traffic conditions around the nine-county area (Brevard, Volusia, Flagler, Seminole, Orange, Osceola, Sumter, Lake and Marion counties).
