This project includes the inside widening of State Road (S.R.) 414 / Maitland Boulevard from east of Interstate 4 (I-4) (Hope Road) to east of County Road (C.R.) 427 (Maitland Avenue) from a suburban four-lane road to an urban six-lane road. The ultimate roadway will be primarily a divided urban six-lane corridor separated by a wide raised median. Sidewalks will be continuous on both sides and drainage improvements to the roadway will be added. Full signalized openings will be maintained at Maitland Avenue and Concourse Parkway. A directional median opening will be provided at Lake Faith Villas and a new full median opening will be constructed between Concourse Parkway and Maitland Avenue.
