- Public Meeting was held February 15th at Flagler Beach City Hall.
- Flagler County is the local sponsor of an Army Corps of Engineers Hurricane and Storm Damage Reduction Feasibility study for the entire Flagler County Coastline.
- Significant efforts during the Project Development and Environmental planning phase resulted in buy in from the Regulatory Agency and commenting agencies- the Department of Environmental Protection, the Army Corps of Engineers, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Florida Fish and Widlife Conservation Commission.
- The Project has been put on hold for approximately two years, to allow the Flagler County/Army Corps to complete their study.
